Travel Treatment FAQs

  • Yes! We welcome patients who travel to our office in beautiful Provo, Utah to receive biomimetic dental treatments.

  • This depends on your treatment needs, but we can give you a estimated treatment time after your initial consultation. Treatment of a single tooth can often be completed in one visit, but treatment for multiple teeth or severe cases may require multiple days of treatment.

  • While we do not bill insurance companies directly, we work with you to have your insurance help cover the costs of your biomimetic treatment.

  • Salt Lake International Airport and Provo Airport are the closest airports to our office. We are approximately an hour south of the Salt Lake International Airport. Please be sure to leave ample time to make it to your appointment, with 15 minutes to fill in any remaining paperwork.

  • There are a number of hotels and Airbnbs in the area within a 5-10 minute drive from our office.

Step one: Start by reaching out to us via phone or email. Sheila will ask a series of questions and discuss your individual symptoms and concerns, after which we will ask you to send us a quick email summary with any photos or x-rays you have.
Step two: Once we have your x-rays and photos, we will schedule a zoom consultation with Dr. Alleman to look over your images and discuss more in-depth questions you have that are outside Sheila’s scope of expertise. 

Step three: After the zoom call, if everything feels like a good fit, we schedule you to come to Utah!

After completing our request form, our Patient Care Coordinator, Sheila, will contact you within 1-2 office days to schedule your meeting.

Planning for your visit 


Our normal office hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 8-3. Depending on the severity of your case, we typically block two half days for your dental appointments. We also often require a second trip 2-3 weeks after the first. This is necessary if your restoration requires an onlay, as we need proper turnaround in the lab to make sure they have time to fabricate your biomimetic crown. In order to block our schedule, we require a deposit of $800, applied to your in office restorations. If your restoration is less than $8f00 we will refund the difference.
